About the Scholarship

At 770GOODLAW, Car Accident Lawyers, LLC., we understand that some of the toughest battles happen outside the courtroom. and cancer is one such battle that touches the lives of millions. Whether you or a loved one has faced this challenge, we recognize the strength, resilience, and determination required to navigate through it. That’s why we are proud to introduce our 770GOODLAW Cancer Awareness Scholarship. 

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

 

Our $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate or graduate student who has been personally affected by cancer or has a loved one or friend who has battled the disease. This scholarship is also open to individuals whose lives have been impacted by cancer. We aim to support and empower those who have faced this challenge, providing financial assistance to help them pursue their educational goals.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

Step 1: Applicant Eligibility

  • You or someone close to you (a family member, friend, etc.) has been affected by cancer. 
  • You are currently enrolled or have been accepted to an accredited college, university, or graduate school in Georgia.

Step 2: Submission Guidelines

There are 2 ways to submit your entry (choose 1):

  1. Video Submission
  2. Essay Submission

Step 3: Submit Application

Once you have checked your eligibility and have properly followed submission guidelines, you are now ready to submit your application:

APPLICATION TOPICS

 

The following are the application topics for both the video and essay submissions:

  1. In what ways has your or your loved one’s cancer diagnosis influenced your academic experience? 
  2. How have you adapted your approach to studying or attending school because of your or a loved one’s cancer? 
  3. What is a significant challenge faced by individuals with cancer that you believe deserves more public awareness? 

Also, please add a brief paragraph describing how this scholarship will benefit you. This paragraph will not be included in the essay word count or video length. 

Video Submission Guidelines

Here are the guidelines for video submission:

  • Record your video in a well-lit environment and keep your recording device steady.
  • At the beginning or end of the video, state your full name and the name of the scholarship. 
  • Include details about any information sources and media editing tools used in the video description.
  • Ensure all content is copyright-free and create a compelling title that reflects your ideas.
  • Prioritize the quality of your script over advanced video editing techniques. 
  • Upload the video as an unlisted video on YouTube and submit the link via our application form.

To ensure your essay submission is complete and meets our guidelines, please include the following information within the header:

As a reminder, to be eligible for this scholarship, you:

 

  • Must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States. 
  • Must submit an official high school or college transcript.

Scholarship Application Timeline

Ensure you mark these critical dates on your calendar to avoid missing out on the scholarship opportunity. The application opens on January 1st and closes on March 31st. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by April 15th, and the final recipients will be announced on May 1st.
